Both my new coffee press and grinder came in today. I had to run out and grab some fresh coffee and try them out!

They look pretty cool, the three cup is a PERFECT size for me. I shouldn’t drink more than I can get out of the press and I think I have my grinder set to make the right amount of grounds for the press (it’s got a timer, a little math and a few seconds later I had a little more than the right amount. 10-11 seconds yields the correct amount of grounds, and first time was about 13 seconds. Not too shabby!)

So, I’m really digging the grind I chose, it’s a local coffee company (actually right behind the store I bought it from, which makes me wonder why I didn’t just go there in the first place!) called SLO Roasted Coffee and their Columbian Supremo is pretty damn good, spent about $3 on coffee that will last me probably the entire month!

I say to you: That is a damn fine cup of coffee
